Was craving some noodles and decided to check this place out. They have an option to build your own noodle bowl so I picked Ho Fun noodles with chicken broth and did the pick two toppings. I chose the mixed veggies and roast duck (the roast duck was $2 more). I expected more Asian mixed veggies but got spinach, broccoli, mushrooms and carrots instead. There was also bamboo shoots, baby corn and water chestnuts. The broth was good and came out scalding hot so make sure to be careful. It was garnished with scallions and what I think we're fried onions, which was a nice touch! The duck was flavorful and tasty, but maybe a little salty for my personal taste. Overall solid bowl of noodles, but did not stand out. The server was really friendly and very attentive. She came often to check in and was very good about keeping an eye on if I needed anything. I went in December and they were playing the Christmas tunes. The interior is nice and clean and decorated with some nice Chinese art work. I enjoyed the food and the servers were very nice, but would maybe want to try to order other stuff since they have a really large menu.

I used to eat here like 10 years ago and it was not worth the hype, nothing was great but it was cheap and a staple so one puts up with it. Not sure when it got re done, it doesn't quite feel the same but it looks nice! The staff are all stars! Love them. I watched one one woman on multiple occasions recite someone's order to them before they ordered, they obviously care about their regulars. Also that part of town is hell for waitstaff cuz of the tourists so they must put up with a lot. The hot and sour soup is super solid, can't go wrong. My go to is their chicken chow fun, I like to order it with dry black beans. Not quite the same every time, different levels of oiliness but it always hearty, warming and filling. I ordered the dumplings once and they were fine. Nothing crazy but you're not gonna be mad.

My usual Chinese takeaway place was closed so we ordered from here for the first time for takeaway - really nice staff, plentiful portions and reasonable prices. The boy got the curry chicken noodle soup - the chicken had a lot of bones but the broth was rich and flavorful. I got a sizzling tofu plate - couldn't even finish it. So much food! Will be back. Thanks!

Walked here from Rockefeller Center after viewing the tree with my spouse. The hostess on the phone was nice enough to hold a table for us. I have previously only been here for lunch so I thought I would try dinner. We started off with a bottle of Prosecco which is very reasonable at $23. Then we had the fried wontons which were super delish and paired well with the bubbly. We moved on to the steamed pork bun which was warm and perfect for the chilly evening. The scallion pancake was nice and crispy and was one of my favorite appetizers here. The meat and the Shanghai dumplings also stood out as unique. We finished with Chinese ramen with wontons. So delish. We were so full but had a great experience here. The staff was super friendly and let us have a nice long dinner date night. Worth noting is that they have a happy hour from 3-6 PM every weekday if you want to drink. They have a nice selection of wine and beer. I'll definitely keep coming back.

This is the only Chinese restaurant I'll go to in NYC. As of next month I've been coming here for 12 years. Started coming here back when it was a divey looking hole in the wall, and maybe 7 years ago they redid the entire place so it's much nicer looking. Not gonna lie I miss the old one, but luckily that's the only thing that's changed. Every single time I've come here and all the times I've brought new people, it's been so good. Before the remodel I brought someone who was skeptical because she tends to judge books by their covers, and soon ate her words when she tried the food. I haven't ever had an issue with my orders, staff, nothing. This year I ended up in nyc unexpectedly Christmas weekend, and made it a point to go here. My family is mix religion wise and Jews and Chinese food go hand in hand on Christmas. I ended up giving a history lesson to the staff as to why Jewish people get Chinese food on Christmas (it actually started in NYC). I like trying new places, but when in it comes to Chinese in NYC I've had bad luck until I was brought to Mee. So why shy away from something so good that took so long to find?
